Who Are We?

Who Are We?

How it Started

From food lovers to food bank. We began life as an online hub for local foodies, where people could discuss their favourite local restaurants and dishes. However, with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we quickly shifted our focus to operating a mobile food bank with contactless delivery for those in need.

How It's Going

NL Eats has delivered care packages of food and essentials to over 800 families in the St. John’s Metro Area. Since beginning our food bank operation, we have provided over 600 meals to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to expand our operations in the future and help even more people.

How we Tackle Food Insecurity

behind the scenes at our food bank!

In addition to our mobile food bank, NL Eats also has a number of projects in development. These include a series of brief TV segments on CBC that will shine a light on food insecurity in St. John’s, as well as a web series that will teach people how to make affordable yet healthy meals with everyday ingredients.
